6000 N CICERO — SAUGANASH PLACE

Constructed in 2007, Sauganash Place is a mid-rise, 5-story building that offers excellent proximity to the restaurants, shopping, forest preserves, golf courses, and everything else the Sauganash neighborhood has to offer. The 61-unit building also features ground floor space leased to Whole Foods, easily accessible to the residents within the building.

The 2br/2ba condos include maple cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, whirlpool tubs, in-unit laundry, walk-in closets in the master bedroom, and balconies. Amenities also include indoor heated parking, elevator, pool, and on-site management.

Commuters and other frequent travelers will appreciate Sauganash Place for its convenient location next to the I-94 expressway and Metra stops, providing quick routes to both downtown Chicago and O'Hare Airport.

SAUGANASH

Sauganash is a region within the Jefferson Park neighborhood, located northwest of Chicago's downtown and often considered to have a suburban atmosphere. The area is blessed with an expanse of green space—a rare commodity in other Chicago neighborhoods. Although it has its share of condominiums and multi-units, Sauganash has one of the widest varieties of single-family home styles and vintages in the city—its tree-lined streets present an array that includes ranch styles, English Tudors, Cape Cods, Georgians, and bungalows. Miles of preserved woodland and biking trails allow residents to experience both residential life and natural surroundings, making Sauganash one of Chicago's "most desirable neighborhoods for peace and quiet."

Sauganash also provides residents with an excellent combination of local arts and activities. Its fieldhouse offers opportunities for indoor sports ranging from basketball to volleyball, and includes a 150-seat auditorium where interested students can take lessons in disciplines including music, dance, and theater.

As a previous resident, one of my personal favorite features was the walking distance to Des Plaines River Trail. I have personally biked the trail to the Wisconsin border and back and it is just over a 100-miles door to door. My wife loved how close she was to Rosemont shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Close proximity to O’Hare and blue line. Just an overall great neighborhood.
